This gathering marked a significant step toward deepening collaboration between two of West Africa’s most dynamic entrepreneurial communities. Moving Beyond Rivalry to Partnership While friendly debates, such as the well-known jollof rice rivalry, often characterize interactions between Nigerians and Ghanaians, this dinner demonstrated a shared commitment to unity and progress. The event was designed to foster stronger professional relationships, encourage knowledge exchange, and lay the groundwork for future joint initiatives. Leadership Perspective: The Importance of Collaboration Kwame Kurankyi Dadson, Network Manager for Stanford Seed Transformation Network West Africa, expressed strong enthusiasm for the growing partnership between the Nigeria and Ghana Chapters. He highlighted how collaboration, rather than competition, is essential for advancing the network’s mission across the region. His comments reinforced the evening’s message: that intentional collaboration among West African business leaders will be a driving force for regional success and transformation. Key Discussions and Action Points The evening was structured around open dialogue and practical brainstorming, with members from both chapters contributing ideas on how to enhance the Seed Network’s value across West Africa. Notable contributions included: Leadership Development: Mr. Saidu Basharu, Welfare Secretary of the Nigerian Chapter, advocated for greater consistency in the Leadership Lab, suggesting the introduction of cohort ambassadors and working committees to strengthen mentorship and support systems. Operational Efficiency: Mrs. Adanma Onuegbu emphasized the importance of timely dues payments, highlighting how administrative efficiency underpins the network’s ability to deliver value. Resource Mobilization: Mr. James Ogbe, Finance Secretary of the Nigerian chapter, proposed a tiered Donor Recognition System (Gold, Silver, Bronze) to incentivize and acknowledge member contributions. Engagement and Participation: Mr. Taofik, a Nigerian member, encouraged increased attendance at physical events, noting that face-to-face interactions are invaluable for solving business challenges and building trust. Expansion and Outreach: Plans were discussed for a potential West African Summit in Lagos or Accra, as well as strategies to leverage the STP referral program to attract more qualified entrepreneurs to the network. Next Steps: Building a Stronger Regional Network The joint dinner concluded with a commitment of the Nigeria and Ghana Chapters to: Organize more intentional cross-chapter events to facilitate relationship-building and knowledge sharing. Establish regional ambassador systems and revitalize leadership development programs across countries. Promote a culture of contribution, visibility, and collaboration within the network. Conclusion This joint dinner between the Nigeria and Ghana Chapters set a new standard for cross-chapter engagement within the Seed Transformation Network. By moving beyond friendly rivalry and focusing on collaboration, both chapters demonstrated that West African business leaders are stronger together. The outcomes of this meeting will serve as a foundation for future initiatives aimed at accelerating regional growth and impact. Exploring Innovation and Opportunity: A Visit to BlueLine Urban Projects & Prindex. Oct 30, 2025 Facebook X (Twitter) WhatsApp LinkedIn Copy link On Thursday, 30th October 2025 , fourteen members of the Seed Network visited Dream Place by Prindex, Lekki Phase 1 , for an immersive experience with BlueLine Urban Projects and Prindex , two complementary companies reshaping urban development and real estate in Nigeria. The visit offered an inside look at how strategic planning, collaboration, and innovation drive high-quality property development, while also highlighting potential opportunities for network members. BlueLine Urban Projects: Excellence in Construction The first highlight of the visit was BlueLine Urban Projects , led by CEO Olasupo “Supo” Jagun . The company started as a design-and-build firm focused on Italian-style luxury apartments and has now evolved into a developer delivering completed properties. Supo Jagun, CEO BlueLine Urban Projects With 53 full-time staff and 200 part-time contractors , BlueLine has built a reputation for precision, professionalism, and architectural excellence. Members toured completed apartments , witnessing firsthand how BlueLine transforms design concepts into tangible, high-quality living spaces. This meticulous planning ensures smooth workflow, cost efficiency, and superior outcomes, particularly in competitive markets like Lagos Island. Prindex: The Real Estate Enabler Prindex, led by Tolu Bawa-Allah , plays a complementary role, providing land acquisition, investor sourcing, and contract management . Their model allows investors and clients to secure land and partnerships while BlueLine brings the construction expertise to realize the projects. Tolu Bawa-Allah. Managing Director, Prindex Properties. While BlueLine handles construction, Prindex ensures a steady pipeline of opportunities and smooth investor relations. Looking ahead, Prindex plans to expand their portfolio in 2026 , introducing systematic approaches to bring in more deals and enhance collaboration with developers like BlueLine. Synergy in Action: A Powerful Collaboration Supo Jagun and Tolu Bawa-Allah The visit showcased how the split in operations between BlueLine and Prindex has allowed each company to focus on its strengths while complementing the other. BlueLine focuses on construction excellence, while Prindex manages sourcing and partnerships. This collaboration creates a streamlined workflow, reduces operational friction, and ensures projects are delivered efficiently. Members also gained insights into navigating market challenges, including high construction costs and competition. Lessons and Opportunities for Seed Network Members The visit offered practical lessons in strategy, planning, and investment. Seed Network members were introduced to opportunities such as: Equity participation in premium apartments Ownership of office suites, short-let units, or hotel rooms Co-investment in landed properties within the network By leveraging the trust, expertise, and professionalism of BlueLine and Prindex, members have the potential to engage in well-managed, high-quality real estate projects, building both value and confidence in the brand. • Breaking the Isolation of Leadership: Insights from the Leadership Lab | Seed Network Nigeria

Breaking the Isolation of Leadership: Insights from the Leadership Lab Feb 17, 2025 Facebook X (Twitter) WhatsApp LinkedIn Copy link They say it can be lonely at the top. Leaders are often expected to have all the answers, make tough decisions, and navigate uncertainty with confidence. But even the most accomplished leaders face challenges and moments of doubt. At the Stanford Seed Transformation Network, Nigeria Chapter , we believe leadership is not a solo journey. That’s why we created the **Leadership Lab**, a transformative space where business leaders come together to share challenges, exchange insights, and grow through collaboration. This unique initiative fosters peer-to-peer learning, offering members a chance to gain actionable advice and fresh perspectives from fellow entrepreneurs. A Safe Space for Authentic Conversations The Leadership Lab is a powerful reminder of the strength found in community. During each session, members are divided into small groups where they openly discuss real-world business challenges—whether it’s scaling operations, navigating economic shifts, or managing teams effectively. These conversations are grounded in honesty and mutual respect, creating an environment where participants feel safe to share their struggles. What sets this experience apart is the practical, real-world advice offered by peers who have faced similar obstacles. It’s not about theories or abstract concepts; it’s about tested solutions and collaborative problem-solving that leaders can immediately apply to their businesses. Key Takeaways from the Leadership Lab Every session leaves participants with valuable lessons that shape their leadership journeys. Some of the key insights include: Openness is a Strength : True leadership lies in embracing vulnerability and being open to learning from others. Collaboration Fuels Growth : The best solutions often come from those who have walked similar paths and can offer fresh perspectives. A Trusted Network is Invaluable : Having a supportive community of like-minded leaders can make decision-making and problem-solving significantly easier. Why Community Matters in Leadership The Leadership Lab exemplifies why having a strong leadership network is essential. While each leader’s challenges may be unique, the collective wisdom of a trusted community makes navigating them more manageable. This initiative isn’t just an event—it’s a movement toward collaborative leadership, where members don’t just grow their businesses but also uplift one another. comments debug Comments Write a comment Write a comment Share Your Thoughts Be the first to write a comment.
