CreditPRO Champions a Cleaner Future with #EndPlasticPollution Campaign in Lagos, Nigeria.
Oct 28, 2025
At the helm of CreditPRO Finance Company Limited is Sola Adeyiga, a driven entrepreneur with a vision to build a financial institution that not only lends but also enables sustainable growth for small and medium enterprises across Nigeria. Under his leadership, CreditPRO has evolved from its early days into a trusted SME partner. The company, fully registered with CAC and now licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria, offers customized financial solutions that reflect the realities and needs of growing businesses.
CreditPRO’s climb to prominence has been marked by resilience, innovation, and purpose. From humble beginnings operating under a Lagos State money-lender license, the company has disbursed over ₦20 billion in loans to more than 2,500 SMEs. It has earned industry recognition, winning awards such as the Small Business Lender of the Year in 2021, and recently attained a major milestone with its full CBN licensing to expand SME lending across Nigeria.

Today, CreditPRO stands on the pillars of stability, innovation, and impact. With a growing nationwide footprint, the company continues to push boundaries not just in finance but also in how businesses contribute positively to their communities and environment.
Reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, CreditPRO has officially launched the #EndPlasticPollution Campaign, a community-driven initiative aimed at promoting responsible plastic waste management and greener living across Lagos State.
The campaign, endorsed by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) and the Office of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), was inaugurated on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Chief Anthony Enahoro Housing Estate, Ogba.
To kick off the initiative, CreditPRO donated plastic collection bins to selected communities, including Chief Anthony Enahoro and George Crescent Estates, Ogba, marking the beginning of a citywide rollout encouraging waste segregation and recycling at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the launch, CreditPRO’s Managing Director, Dr. Sola Adeyiga, emphasized the company’s belief that business continuity and environmental responsibility are inseparable.
“The going concern of a business is not guaranteed without a healthy and sustainable environment. This is more than CSR; it’s a purpose,” Adeyiga said.
Dr. Oreoluwa Finnih, Special Adviser to the Governor on SDGs, represented by Mr. Michael Folorunsho, commended the initiative as “timely and commendable,” noting that it aligns with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and supports Lagos State’s vision for a cleaner, more resilient environment.
In her remarks, Mrs. Olabisi Shonibare, Director of Partnership, Grant Management, and Innovation at LASEPA, described plastic pollution as one of Lagos State’s most pressing environmental challenges and urged more private sector organisations to emulate CreditPRO’s leadership in advancing sustainable practices.

According to Mr. Tony Jiboye, Head of Growth & Customer Experience at CreditPRO, the #EndPlasticPollution Campaign will focus on three core areas:
Provision of plastic collection bins to gated estates across Lagos State.
Continuous advocacy and public education to promote proper plastic disposal.
Empowerment of small businesses developing innovative environmental solutions through targeted grants and mentorship opportunities.
With this bold step, CreditPRO continues to reaffirm its identity as a purpose-driven organization, one that not only finances growth but also fosters a sustainable future for the communities it serves.

We are thrilled to spotlight CreditPRO’s #EndPlasticPollution campaign, a bold step that aligns their business mission with environmental stewardship. To learn more about CreditPRO’s services, impact, and latest initiatives, visit the company’s official website @ https://creditprosme.com
