The evening concluded with a lively Welcome Reception, where delegates mingled, built new relationships, and set the tone for the days ahead. The energy was palpable, with anticipation for the learning and collaboration to come.
Day 2: Masterclasses in Communication, Creativity, and Community
Matt Abrahams: Mind Over Chatter

Friday’s sessions began with Matt Abrahams, a Stanford GSB lecturer in Organizational Behavior, who delivered a powerful talk on “Mind Over Chatter.” He introduced the What–So What–Now What? framework, a practical tool for crafting clear, focused messages. This approach empowers leaders to distill their key message, clarify its importance, and drive actionable outcomes for their audiences.
Christian Wheeler: Creating Something from Nothing

Next, Professor Christian Wheeler captivated the audience with his session on fostering environments where ideas flourish. He revealed how our brains are wired to conserve effort and often abandon ideas prematurely. Wheeler emphasized the importance of intentionally creating time for idea generation before applying logic to select the most promising concepts, encouraging leaders to nurture creativity within their teams.
Seedx: Stories from the Network
The afternoon introduced Seedx, a first-of-its-kind platform at the Global Summit. Here, Network Members took the stage to candidly share their entrepreneurial successes, challenges, and lessons learned. These dynamic presentations inspired attendees and sparked meaningful conversations about overcoming obstacles and driving impact.
Chapter Showcases: Celebrating Diversity and Innovation
Following Seedx, each Chapter had the opportunity to showcase their unique products and services. This marketplace buzzed with potential as delegates explored offerings, forged new partnerships, and celebrated the diversity within the Seed community.
Day 3: Strategic Leadership, Communication, and Forward Thinking
Professor Jesper Sørensen: Principles of Strategic Leadership

Saturday began with Professor Jesper Sørensen’s deep dive into strategic leadership. He drew parallels between strategy and architecture, noting that while both involve designing a path to a final product, strategy is a continuous journey. Unlike architecture, strategy must adapt to ever-changing needs from employees, customers, and the market—reminding leaders that strategy is dynamic, not static.
Sarah Soule & Matt Abrahams: Communication as Operationalized Leadership

In a collaborative session, Professor Sarah Soule and Matt Abrahams explored how communication is the engine of effective leadership. They highlighted the power of listening, the importance of choosing the right communication channels, and the need to minimize “noise” for clarity. Attendees learned practical techniques like paraphrasing to ensure mutual understanding and drive alignment.
Seedx: More Lessons from the Frontlines
A second round of Seedx presentations brought fresh insights from business leaders on topics ranging from integrating AI into business processes, raising capital, managing talent, to enhancing branding. These candid stories offered valuable takeaways for entrepreneurs at every stage.
Think Fast, Think Smart: Live Podcast Recording

The final session featured a live recording of “Think Fast, Think Smart,” where Matt Abrahams interviewed Stanford GSB faculty on the impact of AI in education and their latest research. The conversation blended humor, actionable advice, and forward-looking perspectives, leaving the audience energized and equipped for the future.
Closing: Celebration and Community
The summit concluded with a vibrant Closing Dinner at CABO Beach & Restaurant, where delegates celebrated their shared achievements. The Nigeria Chapter added a burst of color and excitement with an impromptu fashion show, reflecting the chapter’s creativity and unity.
Nigeria Chapter: Standing Out in Style
The Nigeria Chapter brought unmistakable flair and unity to the Summit, making a memorable impression with our coordinated attire throughout the event. On Friday, members donned branded hoodies, proudly displaying our collective identity. Saturday saw the men in striking Ankara shirts and the ladies in elegant Kimono gowns, each piece thoughtfully selected to reflect our vibrant culture and chapter spirit. These distinctive outfits ensured that Nigeria Chapter members stood out in every crowd, embodying the energy, diversity, and togetherness that define our network. Our presence was not just seen but felt, as we celebrated our heritage and showcased the pride of Nigeria on a global stage.
