Load Africa is an on-demand logistics platform built to create efficiencies and optimization in the entire supply chain (manufacturing, distribution, transport brokers, logistics companies, drivers and consumers).
Opportunity
Services, especially basic government and financial services are not reaching the masses. This makes economic development slow and collection of levies, fees or taxes inefficient or sometimes non-existent. Of the total adult population in Botswana (approx. 1,3 million), 668,000 (50%) are unbanked however, the country boasts of 160% mobile phone subscription and one of the highest mobile money penetrations in Africa.
Convenient, Affordable, Wider/multichannel access: Morofin leverages on partnerships to provide convenient e-payment solutions that are affordable. These solutions give greater access to services (especially government and financial) to previously the unbanked and facilitates trade in places previously inaccessible.
